About Gemini’s Rival
Gemini’s Rival is the indie rock duo made up of Dan Lezama (vocals/guitar) and Nick Venturella (guitar/vocals).
Originally from Waukesha, WI, Gemini’s Rival, emerged around 1998 from Dan and Nick’s 4-piece, high school rock band, Din Addiction, which dissipated as members we’re heading off to college.
Dan and Nick, who co-wrote the lion’s share of Din Addiction songs, wanted to keep writing and performing together and thus, their duo, Gemini’s Rival, was born.
Gemini’s Rival continued to write their stripped-down, guitar-driven, indie/rock music, and constantly performed where ever and whenever they had an opportunity to do so…on college campuses, at house parties, and hip coffee shops.
As college years were waning the duo were facing the adult responsibilities of post-college life, and moved in separate directions for a few years.
Around the 2005 or 6 Dan and Nick reconnected, and have remained brothers-from-other-mothers since.
Now, the duo each lives in separate states with their respective families and ninos, but through the magic of technology they have revived the fun, goofy energy that is Gemini’s Rival.
Hang around to see what happens next.
